JWP-SILVER MOUNT PG6

Come on in, you are welcome to look around and enjoy the view. We build bits for two purposes only, the first is for pure function. The second is for asthetic's

You will notice that our bits are have a traditional look to them, you will also notice that we do not incorparate any of the gimmicks and oddities that are seen in some bit designs, just good clean work and design that you and the horse can rely on for years to come.

Please note that the hooks you see on the mouths are a part of the photo only, they will not be on the finished bit !!!!

This is the tail end of the silver mount bits from us for a while, we were having alot of trouble with our foundry and had to do something as a stop gap or fill in measure to keep the shop going. So we filled the void with what we do best, that is make great looking and working silver mount bits. The deeply blued steel cheeks help to accent the sterling overlays and engraved beads. The cheeks will be 7-5/8th long, the mouth is our very popular San Joaquin .

We have extended the overall length of the Freno Cheek pattern, so this version will be about 7-5/8ths long. We have done this set of steel cheeks in our "HIGHLAND GREY" finish, the sterling overlays are expresive and bright when done this way. The mouth is our very popular Frog, with plenty of copper.

Ther is no doubt that this is the bit cheek style that we get asked for the most, we call it a SALINAS but many folks also refer to it as a NEVADA. You call it what ever you want, we just call it popular. We have done it here with full sterling and scattered buffalo heads across a prarie of silver. The cheeks are stainless, while the mouth is sweet steel HALF BREED
